You start with a single hint — roughly where in the world the fish lives. Every wrong guess unlocks the next one, and each hint is easier than the last:
Guess early for a better score, or skip a turn to unlock a hint without burning a name. Everyone in the world gets the same fish each day.
You pick from 5 fish instead of naming one from scratch, and you get 4 tries instead of 5 guesses. Hints unlock the same way. It's built for kids — and for anyone who couldn't pick a bowfin out of a lineup yet.
When you can name them without the list, come back and play the real thing. That's the fisherman's version.
